With the DVLA auction to be held over three days this week, we thought it would be good to look at a selection of the collectible 1,500 number plate lots available.
You can browse the offerings by accessing the auction catalogue from the DVLA website. You can take a look at the lots to be auctioned off on any particular day.
Some of the more interesting plates we found include; I2 PAC, 88 OY, 6 O, AI COP, 93 ASH, 6 PGA, PER IIL and 96 PC.
So, why not attend the auction on one of the three days (2nd, 3rd, 4th December 2009) at Tankersley Manor in Barnsley. The experience is always enjoyable and friendly and you will have the opportunity to bid on some highly distinctive car registrations.
Remember, if you really can’t make it to the auction in person, don’t let that make you miss out on the number plate you desire. There are free telephone, internet and absent bidding facilities to take advantage of on the day. There are also reputable online number plate suppliers offering services to place a bid on your behalf.
