The last DVLA auction in Worcestershire proved to be a success for everyone concerned, with high demand for personalised number plates going into the thousands. However, there were also many bargains to be had where you could pick up a car registration for just a few hundred pounds. The next DVLA auction of number plates is now upon us with the auction due to be held next week. Well, what is in store for the keen bidders out there? The last DVLA auction was held back in October at the Dormy House Hotel in Broadway, Worcestershire. Number plates such as 1 FRJ and REH 44N went for £10,000 each while 5 O went for a whopping £71,000. Most of the number plates in the auction received bids and were sold over the three days and there is expected to be an even higher demand this time around.
There were 1,598 lot numbers in the auction, so it is wise to read ahead and find when the lot you are interested in is likely to be open for bids. In the next article we will be looking at next week’s auction in more detail.
