What are DVLA Auctions? Part 2

In the last article we took a look at DVLA auctions and shed a bit of light on what they are. In this article we will look more closely at some of the aspects of these auctions and what to do if there is a specific plate you want to bid on, but cannot attend the auction in person.

If you want to place a bid on a cherished registration you fancy, and cannot make it on the day, there is also the option of utilising the telephone, internet and absent bidding facilities provided for free by the DVLA. These services are reliable and will ensure your bid is considered in your absence.

At DVLA auctions, some cherished numbers can go up to some unbelievably high levels, especially if the marks on offer consist of previously unissued yet attractive DVLA stock.

These auctions are usually held in places such as country house hotels and other welcoming venues and can last two to three days in duration.

Hopefully we have provided a little more information on these exciting auctions. So, what are you waiting for, keep your eyes peeled as to when the DVLA are holding their next auction!
