DVLA Registration Plates
All vehicles currently registered in England, Scotland and Wales are allocated with a unique registration mark. The right to display the mark is granted by the Secretary of State for Transport but all DVLA registration plates remain, technically, the property of the Secretary of State. If the plate is displayed incorrectly, then the mark can be withdrawn from the keeper.
