BSI stands for British Standard Institute. Most people are probably familiar with the so-called "kitemark" awarded for achieving a formal standard of quality. In years gone by products and services were registered to British Standards e.g. BS 5750. However, although BSI are the originators of the quality mark, these standards have now been adopted internationally.
National Numbers has been a BSI registered company, registered to ISO 9001:2000, certificate no. FS 36597.
ISO 9001:2000 is the internationally recognised standard for the management of a business's systems.
The standard provides a framework for managing and improving the quality of service a company provides.
From a customer's point of view, a BSI registered company is externally audited each year by a BSI inspector, as well as, among other things, being obliged to carry out at least one internal audit per year, seek evidence of customer satisfaction via a survey and demonstrate evidence of continuous improvement.
We have worked hard to achieve our quality mark. If we did not carry out business efficiently, clients have an external body to appeal to.
By achieving our quality award, we feel we have demonstrated our commitment to customer satisfaction, not only paid lip-service to it.
