The Rover 75 is an executive car originally manufactured by Rover Group, though it was later continued under BMW and MG Rover. The MG Rover marquee itself is no longer around, but the Rover 75 is supported by an active Owner's Group and still remains very popular.
The perfect Rover plate, ROV 3R, was sold in 2006 for just £2,100. 2006 was a year after the Rover 75 stopped being produced so could have been bought by a collector, or proud owner. Either way the number plate is likely worth upwards of £10,000 today.
