The Rover 75 is an executive car that was originally manufactured by Rover Group, though was later continued under BMW and MG Rover. Though the MG Rover marquee itself is no longer around the Rover 75 is supported by an active Owners Group and still remains very popular. Non-owners may recognise the car from various police shows, such as Midsomer Murders, New Tricks and Murphys Law where it is very popular as a police vehicle.
The perfect Rover plate, ROV 3R, was sold in 2006 for just £2,100. 2006 was a year after the Rover 75 stopped being produced so could have been bought by a collector, or proud owner. Either way the number plate is likely worth upwards of £10,000 today.
If youre a proud owner of the Rover 75 vehicle and would like to give it that extra special look with a private number plate, National Numbers are here to help.
