The Pirates play their football at the Memorial Stadium in the magnificent city of Bristol. Founded as Black Arabs F.C. in 1883, the club changed their name to Bristol Rovers just before the turn of the 20th Century in 1899.
Currently residing in League One, Rovers have been competing in the Football League since 1920. Bristol City are the biggest rivals of The Gas (for obvious reasons), as well as Cardiff and Swindon Town.
