Following a meeting of the Singer Factory Gentleman's Club, Coventry City were formed as Singers F.C. back in 1883, making them one of the oldest clubs, with maybe the strangest origin story, in English Football. The Sky Blues play football in League One and the Ricoh Arena, Coventry City's home ground, was the first all-seater stadium in English Football.
Having beat Tottenham Hotspur in 1987, Coventry City won the FA Cup which is the highest honour in the club's history. 1987 was quite the year in fact, as they also won the FA Youth Cup, one of only five clubs to win both of the honours in the same season.
