When I checked what I needed to do to sell my number plate I decided it was far too much hassle and decided against it. It could not be easier to purchase a registration from National Numbers. The whole experience was quick and friendly. The new plates were dispatched quickly. The simple form sent to me just required signing and sending on to DVLA. The whole experience was good.
