I recently completed a purchase of a personalised number plate. National Numbers were the only organisation to offer me the option of the plate I wanted. The e mail I was sent indicated I would receive mail with a return envelope to return the log book for current registered car, however I received e mail few days later stating I could attach a photo of log book, which I then did and progressed my purchase. New log book received few days later.
After waiting 18 months to sell my number plate, the seven weeks from NationalNumbers phone call to completion went quick enough ! Not I hasten to add, the fault of NationalNumbers. I suspect the biggest delay was with the DVLA and their processes. The company was very professional, kept me informed all the way and always responded to emails. I spoke to several people on the phone and they were always able to give me up-to-date accurate information. They were courteous and helpful. Anyone who puts the following on their website might appear frivolous but what it actually reflects is a human approach to life and an appropriate sense of humour ! "National Numbers is based in sunny Billingham in the North East of England. The staff all wear flat caps and have a passing interest in whippets! Although I was unable to finalise the registration online, I received an old school type of support from Paul who guided me through the different steps and we got it all sorted. DVLA documents followed swiftly and the online transfer was super easy. So all well worth it!
