• To remove these, all you need to do is unscrew the screws and the number plate will be removed.
• You may need a drill for this, but be careful it's on the unscrew setting or you may damage your number plates
• Keep hold of the old screws just in case you want to screw a new registration on to the vehicle. The old number plate screws will fit perfectly in to the required hole on your car for fitting the next set of number plates.

• Most number plates are secured with adhesive stickers or pads in this day and age, and they are slightly more complicated to remove than a simple screw.
• First, apply pressure to the back of your number plate as evenly as possible.

• You can use a thin tool for this such as a wallpaper scraper.
