Having tried another company and heard nothing, I was a little reluctant to pay the £50. But it proved worth while, initial great valuation, working with them to reach a middle ground with an offer to satisfaction for both parties. I was told whole process would take 2 weeks, cheque was with me in as little 5 days, well impressed. So much so that I will be putting my other plate up for sale with National Numbers. Wonderful service. The DVLA took a long time for the wheels of government to grind away but National Numbers handled everything they possibly could, they even made the plates themselves up for me. They quite correctly reassured me about what appeared at first to be a big mistake by the DVLA saying the plate I had bought could not never be transferred from my ageing but rocket propelled luxurious two ton Supercharged Daimler (like the one which used to be driven personally by the Queen) onto any future replacement.
