After waiting 18 months to sell my number plate, the seven weeks from NationalNumbers phone call to completion went quick enough ! Not I hasten to add, the fault of NationalNumbers. I suspect the biggest delay was with the DVLA and their processes. The company was very professional, kept me informed all the way and always responded to emails. I spoke to several people on the phone and they were always able to give me up-to-date accurate information. They were courteous and helpful. Anyone who puts the following on their website might appear frivolous but what it actually reflects is a human approach to life and an appropriate sense of humour ! "National Numbers is based in sunny Billingham in the North East of England. The staff all wear flat caps and have a passing interest in whippets! Just easy to do business with. Fast, reliable and friendly. If there is something you are not happy about, just call or email them and they will help you out - for example, I did not want to send off the original copy of my log book while purchasing a new plate, we agreed a scanned copy of the front of it would be fine and that was that, 5 minute call, no hassle. Made an offer on a Sunday, agreed the deal on the Tuesday, new plates arrived on the Friday and new log book arrive the following Thursday. Easy.

Can't rate this company highly enough, found me my plate for over 2k cheaper than a rival company, friendly, helpful efficient staff, buy with confidence, you won't be disappointed ?
