Approached many other number plate resellers and they all quoted me between £400 and £500 for my plate. National Numbers quoted three times that but explained it might take a while to sell at that price. I was prepared to wait and have just received £1200 (having accepted an offer). Wonderful service. The DVLA took a long time for the wheels of government to grind away but National Numbers handled everything they possibly could, they even made the plates themselves up for me. They quite correctly reassured me about what appeared at first to be a big mistake by the DVLA saying the plate I had bought could not never be transferred from my ageing but rocket propelled luxurious two ton Supercharged Daimler (like the one which used to be driven personally by the Queen) onto any future replacement.
