This was my first time to purchase a private plate. The procedure was fully explained to me by the sales staff and the transfer went very well as I was advised.
After waiting 18 months to sell my number plate, the seven weeks from NationalNumbers phone call to completion went quick enough ! Not I hasten to add, the fault of NationalNumbers. I suspect the biggest delay was with the DVLA and their processes. The company was very professional, kept me informed all the way and always responded to emails. I bought a plate and am in the process of selling my original plate through National Numbers. They make the whole process very straightforward and quick; they may not necessarily be the cheapest (I saw my purchased plate advertised for a lower amount elsewhere) but are by far the most customer centric company to do business with - hence why I chose to buy the plate from them.
