This was my first time using national numbers. They explained the buying process and in my case the timed auction procedures etc and took my deposit but then didn't send the auction documentation through. I called, it was sent and I returned the completed forms for the auction my plate was due in. But then there was no more communication so when the auction started I wasn't sure if the bids I could see going up via the website were mine or not. When I called, they always answered and with the exception of the initial paperwork hiccup, everything went perfectly smoothly. Maybe I was worrying needlessly, but the occasional email update to inform you that each stage has been completed would provide that little reassurance that everything is on track. Would I use them again? Yes, absolutely.

From the very first contact with Clare the entire process went along very smoothly and quickly without any hitches whatsoever. I received the new registration plates the following day and the certificate 2 days later. I can recommend National Numbers to anyone thinking of purchasing a private registration.

Excellent prompt service. Once you have purchased your number plate, you send your logbook back to them, and they register on your vehicle.

Bought my plate online and a problem occurred .Phoned to check what the problem was and was dealt with by Jill. The problem was unable to be traced straight away.Jill noted my number and said she would check everything out and would return my call to confirm everything was alright. I listed my one of my unused number plates with National Numbers. After a period, I got a call from them to say I had a bid. They negotiated upwards a little on the bid - and a sale was agreed. They then sent me the forms, and within about two weeks, I had the full payment from them. Very easy to deal with - have no problems recommending.

The service was fab, the gentleman I spoke to was very friendly and helpful and I purchased the plate without any issues. The documents and plates arrived quickly. The only criticism I have is that this was a surprise for my husband's birthday and the letter sending the document had the company stamp on the reverse so it spoilt the surprise as he knew I has purchased a plate! Maybe just a return address without the company name would be better?
