This was my first time using national numbers. They explained the buying process and in my case the timed auction procedures etc and took my deposit but then didn't send the auction documentation through. I called, it was sent and I returned the completed forms for the auction my plate was due in. But then there was no more communication so when the auction started I wasn't sure if the bids I could see going up via the website were mine or not. When I called, they always answered and with the exception of the initial paperwork hiccup, everything went perfectly smoothly. Maybe I was worrying needlessly, but the occasional email update to inform you that each stage has been completed would provide that little reassurance that everything is on track. Would I use them again? Yes, absolutely.

Positive proactive staff who were very helpful throughout the transaction. The seller of my plate was dragging their heels a bit with the transaction but the staff at National continued to ensure that things went through smoothly and swiftly one all the paperwork was received.., 5 star customer service experience so a special thank you to the professional and attentive staff!!!

Also dealt with Charlotte who was always helpful and cheerful on the phone. I had no idea that you could get the DVLA to issue unused numbers for their auctions. No other numberplate company was able to help me get a very specific plate for my car, the others just tried to sell me the next best thing. Great advice from start to finish. Once you find the registration you want it is a quick and simple way to purchase plates and can also purchase plates from them or do it yourself. No problem to change car registration online.

However I was a bit surprised that I was requested to pay a top up on the deposit. Also the actual seller was not as fast in responding, confirming the plate was still for sale and returning transfer confirmation back to the agent, as I would have liked. However once the agent had the seller?s authorisation documents returned, the transfer was completed over the phone, allowing me to start ordering plates etc.

This company provided the type of service which they should be proud of. Number plates delivered after 4 days. Email confirmation of transfer of registration after 4 days. And the website works well Paul
