Personalised Number Plates are by their very nature "personal" and the value of a plate is simply what someone else is prepared to pay for it. I would recommend this site as I felt in no way intimidated by the company or it's representatives at any time. I had a valuation from them a very long time ago but at that time expressed my opinion that I did not wish to sell my cherished number plate. However, they did contact me many months later to ask if (A) I still was in possession of the plate and (B) Whether I was interested in selling. Having said 'Yes' to both questions they then asked me what I would be prepared to accept for it, which I replied to. My recommendation is to be clear as to how much you are looking to get for the plate up front so that once into any negotiating you can either accept or decline an offer. The whole process was polite and efficient (my communication was solely via E-Mail). I would definitely consider using this company again.

Also dealt with Charlotte who was always helpful and cheerful on the phone. I had no idea that you could get the DVLA to issue unused numbers for their auctions. No other numberplate company was able to help me get a very specific plate for my car, the others just tried to sell me the next best thing. Great advice from start to finish. The log book was delayed from the garage we purchased the car from and National Numbers weren't only happy to hold the registration number I ordered, they also helped speed things along. Super friendly staff and very helpful throughout the whole process of purchasing a private number plate for my sons birthday. I ordered the plate on a Friday afternoon and they delivered the actual number plates on the Monday so I had an actual gift to give to my son on his birthday which was on the Tuesday - outstanding! It took a couple of weeks for the transfer but it was a seamless process and a pleasurable one. I would highly recommend National Numbers!
