I had given up all hope of selling my number plate until l got a most unexpected call. From calling me in Spain to putting the money in my bank was 8 or 9 days in total. Got there eventually plate now on car, i was waiting for the plate with the explanation it was a bank holiday monday, it was in scotland but not in wales=dvla or anywhere else in the uk.

The plates arrived within two days and the certificate a few days after that. The instructions for completing the changeover were clear and unambiguous.
