This was my first time to purchase a private plate. The procedure was fully explained to me by the sales staff and the transfer went very well as I was advised.
We placed our cherished number plate with National Numbers for sale. We rather forgot about it until out of the blue we received an email saying someone had expressed interest and the price seemed fair. After that the process went smoothly only delayed possibly by the fact that we live on a remote Greek Island and getting the signed paperwork back to UK can take a few days. From notification of interest to receipt of funds was less than three weeks so top marks from us for National Numbers. We spotted a few spelling errors on the forms hence we haven't given five stars. 4.75 would be our rating.

From choosing the plate to fitting it to my car took only a few days. Every step of the way was straight forward and emails kept me informed of progress. I would recommend anybody thinking of private plates to do it this way, it was so easy and it didn't break the bank. I am so pleased with my new number Thanks.
This was not the easiest company to buy from and it appears that not all numbers listed are actually for sale. We did complete the transaction on the third number I tried to purchase. The problem with the other two appeared to be that the seller did not respond to National Numbers. However, no-one told me, the customer. Several weeks after making an enquiry I had to phone up to find out what was going on, no news so we tried another number and the same thing happened. Once we did agree a deal on the third number the process worked smoothly but apart form the original email no further communication until I received an invitation to complete this survey. I buy frequently on -line and most companies send emails - even if they are automated - to keep you informed of delivery etc. The process worked, the price was competitive but it is a bit disappointing as a cherished number plate is a luxury item and you need to have a good buying experience but it was not.

I had been looking for a suitable number plate at a reasonable price for ages and in looking one day stumbled upon 'national numbers' quiet by accident.....! There it was..! My plate in thier listings,,,year of my birth and my 3 initials at a very reasonable sum....! When i rang to purchase the plate i was very pleasantly surprised by a team of extremely proffesional people who where not only very helpful also knowledgable and reasuring but most importantly in my eyes,,,,very polite....! I started my enquiry online and then shortly after I had a phone call to talk me through all my options. I had chosen my new number plate which came the next day which was great. 3 days later my certificate came and I could put my new number plate on. All in all it was great service from start to finish and the guy on the phone was a great help so 5 stars ?
