I purchased a plate for my 9 year old nephew ready for when he is 18. The opposition who I have purchased off before were a complete letdown, promising to ring back and did not. Won't mention their name but one of the largest companies - they send regular magazines to me. Could just have been one of their off days. Found them so good in past, but in future will deal with NN. Thanks to all the team that helped me.

Sales team were very helpful on the phone and knowledgeable, they were slow in getting the initial list of available plates to me (Forgot to send the email) but once received helpful in assisting in queries. This is the first time that i have purchased a plate so was not aware of what was due to happen. There was no communication once the admin fees had been taken so i did not know what was due to happen or potential time scales. DVLA notified me the the plate was being issued in to the auction but National numbers never contacted me at all to advise that it was in the auction and they were bidding on it. I was unsure if they were aware and if the bid that appeared in the auction was from them or not. When i spoke to the admin team i was told that there were bidding on it for me but had not advised me as it was really busy when auctions were on....... Surely not that hard to pick up a phone or email. In summary sales team very helpful but admin could be improved with better communication and some sort of guide to what is due to happen for people that have not purchased a plate before. I would use these people again now that i understand the process better
I found National Numbers via an internet search and am so glad I did. I got the number I wanted at a reasonable price, but it didn't end there. I asked how long it would be likely to take to get sorted as I am going to Germany in a couple of weeks. They pulled out all the stops AND sorted out the right number plates for my ageing S-Type. When I checked what I needed to do to sell my number plate I decided it was far too much hassle and decided against it. A few months ago I looked at National Numbers web site and decided to sell it through them. I was in no hurry so happy to leave it and see what happened. Once I received an acceptable offer via National Numbers, the process was so easy and completely hassle free, almost effortless. They do everything for you.
