I placed my Number Plate with Ryan and his staff at National Numbers. Their service was fantastic and they sold my plate and transferred the money direct into my bank account within four days of the transaction completion. I found the staff very informative and kept me informed throughout the process. Based on my experience I definitely recommend National Numbers if you want to buy or sell a Cherished number plate. This was not the easiest company to buy from and it appears that not all numbers listed are actually for sale. We did complete the transaction on the third number I tried to purchase. The problem with the other two appeared to be that the seller did not respond to National Numbers. However, no-one told me, the customer. Several weeks after making an enquiry I had to phone up to find out what was going on, no news so we tried another number and the same thing happened. Once we did agree a deal on the third number the process worked smoothly but apart form the original email no further communication until I received an invitation to complete this survey. I buy frequently on -line and most companies send emails - even if they are automated - to keep you informed of delivery etc. The process worked, the price was competitive but it is a bit disappointing as a cherished number plate is a luxury item and you need to have a good buying experience but it was not.

Great experience

I was so frustrated to find so called cheaper companies added on charges on the last page once you had spent time with the online order. I hate this practice so it was so good to deal with honest people who kept me in the loop either by phone or e-mail every step of the way. My plates arrived very quickly but I have to wait now for the good old DVLA to send me a new tax disc and V5. Cool plate though for me, a photographer - P1 XCB
