Happily, they then responded more positively and today I was able to acquire a suitable plate within my time frame and budget. So, good news all round.

I received a call form Craig at National numbers asking me if I wanted to sell a plate I had given up three years prior. I thought at first it was a scam but to their credit once i got my plate back from DVLA and sent the retention to them within 2 weeks the money was in my account. Happy Days !!!! 4 out of 5. Good service and fairly quick turnaround on paperwork. However all the add ons to the price of the number plates i.e. Printing plates etc are extortionate and there was no option to remove these items from your purchase online. I had to call up to remove the unwanted bits and saved a fortune.

The service was fab, the gentleman I spoke to was very friendly and helpful and I purchased the plate without any issues. The documents and plates arrived quickly. The only criticism I have is that this was a surprise for my husband's birthday and the letter sending the document had the company stamp on the reverse so it spoilt the surprise as he knew I has purchased a plate! Maybe just a return address without the company name would be better?
