This was my first time using national numbers. They explained the buying process and in my case the timed auction procedures etc and took my deposit but then didn't send the auction documentation through. I called, it was sent and I returned the completed forms for the auction my plate was due in. But then there was no more communication so when the auction started I wasn't sure if the bids I could see going up via the website were mine or not. When I called, they always answered and with the exception of the initial paperwork hiccup, everything went perfectly smoothly. Maybe I was worrying needlessly, but the occasional email update to inform you that each stage has been completed would provide that little reassurance that everything is on track. Would I use them again? Yes, absolutely.

I spoke to Martin in first instance and he was very honest and straight forward with my purchase, when I paid the deposit. Secondly I also spoke to Stewart as Martin was busy and he to was very honest and I paid the balance of the monies for my purchase. Bought a number plate paid a deposit and the confirmed to pay the rest of the balance once the payment has been received. Got a call back to say they want the full payment to speed the process up. Agreed to pay the full balance and they have taken out 2 payment of 5k instead of 1. Still waiting the refund and account is now in overdraft and being charged by the bank. Update have spoke to manager who has resolved the situation still awaiting refund however was kind and courteous and explained it was simply human error and has confirmed the issue will be rectified with 48 hours. Got to say the manager was excellent on the call.

I found their service to be very fast with no problems, I rang over a plate on the Friday and the following Saturday they were on my car.

This is the second private registration I've bought from National Numbers and wouldn't go anywhere else. Though the purchases were a couple of years apart, their speed, price and customer service has not waned. They are still an absolutely first class outfit and a DVLA registered supplier, with excellent finance options if you need to spread the cost. Would have been 5 star only they arrived not in a box that they couldn't be identified as number plates and an invoice for National Numbers stuck on the front. I had ticked the box for surprise gift.
