I had been looking for a suitable number plate at a reasonable price for ages and in looking one day stumbled upon 'national numbers' quiet by accident.....! There it was..! My plate in thier listings,,,year of my birth and my 3 initials at a very reasonable sum....! When i rang to purchase the plate i was very pleasantly surprised by a team of extremely proffesional people who where not only very helpful also knowledgable and reasuring but most importantly in my eyes,,,,very polite....! You contacted me after being given a price for a simlar no year Reg. Plate with another company. Their prices (£500 to £800 plus V.A. T. your offer around £130 no V.A.T.) Personalised Number Plates are by their very nature "personal" and the value of a plate is simply what someone else is prepared to pay for it. I would recommend this site as I felt in no way intimidated by the company or it's representatives at any time. I had a valuation from them a very long time ago but at that time expressed my opinion that I did not wish to sell my cherished number plate. However, they did contact me many months later to ask if (A) I still was in possession of the plate and (B) Whether I was interested in selling. Having said 'Yes' to both questions they then asked me what I would be prepared to accept for it, which I replied to. My recommendation is to be clear as to how much you are looking to get for the plate up front so that once into any negotiating you can either accept or decline an offer. The whole process was polite and efficient (my communication was solely via E-Mail). I would definitely consider using this company again.
