Couldn't be more helpful

Simple, quick and easy. Job done. The only slight negative is I felt I had to chase them a couple of times to be kept informed of progress. Overall however worked well and got the plate I wanted.

Sales team were very helpful on the phone and knowledgeable, they were slow in getting the initial list of available plates to me (Forgot to send the email) but once received helpful in assisting in queries. This is the first time that i have purchased a plate so was not aware of what was due to happen. There was no communication once the admin fees had been taken so i did not know what was due to happen or potential time scales. DVLA notified me the the plate was being issued in to the auction but National numbers never contacted me at all to advise that it was in the auction and they were bidding on it. I was unsure if they were aware and if the bid that appeared in the auction was from them or not. When i spoke to the admin team i was told that there were bidding on it for me but had not advised me as it was really busy when auctions were on....... Surely not that hard to pick up a phone or email. In summary sales team very helpful but admin could be improved with better communication and some sort of guide to what is due to happen for people that have not purchased a plate before. I would use these people again now that i understand the process better

Recently bought a number plate from this company. Calls weren't returned. My paperwork was left untouched for 10 days, to then discover that I should've paid tax to allow the process to continue. Only discovered after persistent chasing from myself. The retention certificate took over 14 days to be obtained from the seller, granted an indirect fault. However I'm sure their could be a system in place to avoid this. Paid for the physical number plate but didn't receive it. The process took 3 times longer than the original quote. Prior to purchasing the plate ( once I'd shown interest ) I was receiving at least 2 calls a day. This level of commitment won me over. Unfortunately as soon as payment was made, I no longer received any calls. I had to do the chasing.

The whole experience from start to finish was so easy and pain free. I will be buying another car soon and National Numbers will be my first stop for another numberplate.
