To all reading this, I searched the web for a plate I wanted and national numbers said they could get hold of the plate. J*1nks as its relative to my surname. I rang the company and we discussed the plate, and I was lead to believe the plate would be going to auction.. And they asked for my max bid. I told them a price I was happy to pay for the plate, this price was £2000.. After having lots of contact with national numbers, I recieved my registration plate and I was thrilled, (although the plate never ended up going to auction and I was always going to get it). Last week I went onto the DVLA website and clicked on the recently sold and I was amazed to see that the plate sold in March for £360. It was obviously sold to national numbers, then sold to me for £2000. Without sounding tight, I think that this an unreasonable price mark up, I expect the company to make a profit, who wouldn't.. But 4x the cost of the plate is a p*ss take. So attention to people new to buying plates make sure you really do shop around, as they are only after your money! Thankyou Aaron.

Craig from National Numbers managed to get me 2 matching number plates by requesting then to be released to auction by the dvla. I was sceptical at first but they came through for me getting me my number plates for a very reasonable price at auction. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!!!

This was my first time using national numbers. They explained the buying process and in my case the timed auction procedures etc and took my deposit but then didn't send the auction documentation through. I called, it was sent and I returned the completed forms for the auction my plate was due in. But then there was no more communication so when the auction started I wasn't sure if the bids I could see going up via the website were mine or not. When I called, they always answered and with the exception of the initial paperwork hiccup, everything went perfectly smoothly. Maybe I was worrying needlessly, but the occasional email update to inform you that each stage has been completed would provide that little reassurance that everything is on track. Would I use them again? Yes, absolutely.

100% excellent service. Phil could not be more helpful and was always on hand through the whole process to explain any questions or concerns I had. There was 1 little hiccup, which meant I had to pay the invoice from SMA direct and not via National Numbers, but this was swiftly explained and true testament to any business is how a problem is overcome. Great service and should I ever be purchasing another number plate, I will most certainly be calling National numbers.

I bought my first private registration plate from this company in 1993 and they were very professional then and I have just sold another private plate through them on the 28th FEBRUARY. It was simple as they send you everything to sign and tell you what documents to send back to them. It is better to email them any questions you have and they reply very quickly.
