This was my first experience with National Numbers. I sold my number plate, and they closed the deal quickly. Very professional service. I was kept updated throughout the sale. It took just a few months to find a buyer. Then another two weeks for DVLA to complete transfer. Received cheque - thank you very much for such a superb 1st class service. I cannot fault the Company and the person I dealt with Craig did exactly what it said on the tin. I do take point from one of your reviews regarding the cost of the service but in all honesty if you want to take time out , research the plates and go and spend time at the Auction then it will work out cheaper for you. I personally have not got the time to do this and Craig called me when the Lot came up and I paid in my opinion a fair price for the plate. I would recommend National Numbers

Was looking for a plate for my sons 21st birthday and a few companies were advertising numbers of interest to me but when they were contacted those numbers were not actually available. National Numbers had a number of interest to me but there were some issues with the seller to sort out. I'd like to thank Marty in particular for all his help in sorting out and securing the number for me.

I requested a number plate from them and they charge me a big sum of money. Apparently they use the money to request the number plate from DVLA, sort out all the paper work and bid on behalf of myself in the auction. I must admit they charged me too much for what they have actually done. Therefore, anyone who's thinking of getting a number plated made up I advice you to get in touch with DVLA, do not do it through companies otherwise you will end up losing minimum of 200. Their customer service is good.

I have spoken at length with Marty at National Numbers and he has shown great patience in guiding me through the process of buying a private plate. He has been polite and knowledgeable throughout and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for help in sourcing their ideal registration.

This was the first time I bought a private plate, and had no idea how it all works. The staffs at National numbers were very helpful and explained step to step what will happen. The reason I didn't give five stars is that I feel they need to improve on communication to customers. From when I paid the initial fee, there was no call or email to update me with the process and I have to call them. But they did answer the phone every time I called and some one always try to help you. Overall, I am a very happy and satisfied customer.

I was contacted by National Numbers as i had got a quote off there website as i was looking to sell my number plate.Craig called me and said that he may have a buyer for my plate we agreed a price and he sold this for me the transfer and payment went without hitch and i even got a new set of plates for the new number given to my car would recommend National Numbers very pleased....great service thanks

I asked National Numbers to find a specific number plate for me (precise combination of letters and numbers relating to the year my wife and I married and our initials) National Numbers found the plate, got it for me at a reasonable price and handled the transfer smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will use them as my first choice when buying or selling a plate in future.

I had scoured the internet and various Private Reg companies for over a year and have been looking for a plate that is not on the general market, After having been told by various companies and the DVLA that the plate must have been retired and is no longer available, I gave up my search. I stumbled across National Numbers and took a chance. I spoke with Marty who advised me that he should see no reason why this plate cannot be sought. We agreed the costs and process as this was my first time. A few weeks later, I was notified that that plate had become available! Marty explained the auction process again to me and we agreed my maximum bid both over the phone and written. Auction time - I got lucky - No one had bid for the plate except National Numbers and so I won the bid at the reserve price!! Now waiting on Admin to process the paperwork and release the documents to me! Thanks Marty and the the team at National Numbers!

National numbers came to me with an offer on my plate 5 years after it was placed with them which came as a surprise. As I had a spare plate on retention I went for it. The first admin problem was that when I sent the various documents they asked for they don't check them as they arrive, so after 3 weeks when it was ready to go to DVLA they sent the first form they had back for another signature which as they had had it for 3 weeks could have been avoided. After the forms had been sent to DVLA I had no contact from National Numbers so I chased DVLA who said the had no record of anything relating to either of the 2 number plates involved. I rang National Numbers who say they weren't surprised as they didn't do the transfer normally - it was done as National Numbers. I waited and waited, nothing from National Numbers and rang the DVLA again. I was informed that it had gone through and I could make the plates up. The documents arrived the day after. I chased National numbers a week later as I still had nothing from them and they said "we don't know how it happened, but DVLA hadn't notified them" and then they paid me the balance by bank transfer. I just got the opinion that they weren't in charge of the process, and if I hadn't rung them I still wouldn't have been paid.

We recently purchased 5 new registration numbers at a significant cost. Trusting National Numbers with thousands of pounds of our money whilst they purchased registration numbers on our behalf was done risk free. Their team were incredibly professional, courteous and ultimately successful. We got all the numbers we bid for. The result - great Xmas presents for the family !
