Can I move my car brand number plate to a different make vehicle later?

Yes. The registration can be transferred between vehicles through the normal DVLA assignment process, as long as the vehicles meet the requirements. The “brand” part is just how the plate reads – it doesn’t restrict which car you can assign it to.
